“Cooperative” or “Co-Op” is defined as a group of people coming together to accomplish a common goal. Village is a place where a diverse set of families come together because they are committed to being an active participant in their child’s education, believe in our mission-philosophy and to be a part of a community.
Village Preschool co-op is a non-profit organization owned and operated by the parents of the current students. Parents assist the professional teachers in the classroom on a rotating basis. In addition, each family holds a position/job with in the school that is an integral art of helping the school run.
The professional teachers develop and implement the curriculum and serve as the core of our family education program.
We believe successful communication, involvement and dedication between teachers, families and children to be the foundation of a strong learning community and serve as the basis for developing the skills for healthy life long relationships.
